Social Screenings: Chomsky–Foucault Debate on Human Nature (1971)

Film screening and discussion. The event is in English.

A debate between Noam Chomsky and Michel Foucault about the human nature happened in
1971 at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.

As references to the human nature are frequently used by both defenders and opponents of
various political and economic systems, the question of human nature is still very relevant.
But is there even such thing as an innate human nature, free of external influences?

Because of the coronavirus crisis, the event will likely happen online in the virtual room at 19:00. We will first watch the debate together and then
discuss it as always.
