Online Circle of Thoughts and Shared Knowledge

Given the restrictions that the pandemic has set in our lives, many of us are experiencing hard times with low social interaction in the real world, causing mental stress and leak of energy.
The Online Circle of Thoughts and Shared Knowledge is an event where we can meet 'in a virtual circle' where we can share in a round turn manner stuff we usually shared in occasions like the drinks that happened right after D-Zona events, when they happened in Hybernská, our current physical space for our activities; or when you meet your favorite like-minded people to discuss that book about anticapitalist struggle you love = ) .

For now, the meeting will have the following form:

⊙ Presentation time ⊙:
▸ At the start, attendants will share the noun and pronoun they want to be identified with, and what was the purpose of joining the circle.
▸ Afterwards the attendant will briefly name what he/she/they found interesting* in the recent past that wants to be shared in the circle: the last chapter of the book you are reading, an article you just read this morning, what you've discovered while doing your unfinished doctoral thesis, the documentary you watched that changed your view on something...
▸▸ Each attendant has a limited time for this and it should not be used to get into the content of his/her/their thoughts and knowledge to share.

✿ Horizontal Circle time ✿:
▸ Unless decided otherwise (by voting or other means, for instance, attendant that needs to leave sooner), the circle will start at a random attendant, which will have the turn to share with the circle in more depth the stuff he/she/they named in the presentation time.
▸▸ It's important to be respectful with the rest of the attendants time and turn, and realize when to pass the turn to the next one.
▸ The goal of this time is that everyone that wanted to share what they named in the Presentation time, will be able to do so.

◉ Focused Circle time ◉:
▸ In this stage we will agree which of the content shared in the previous Horizontal Circle time we want to discuss, where attendants can comment, ask or share thoughts about it, having a space for an open discussion about it that will happen in an organized manner.
▸ The time to change to a different content will be decided arbitrarily by agreement of the circle, depending of the interest in the currently discussed topic or the ones remaining.
▸▸ In this stage, the event can extend virtually to infinite: As long as the discussions are focused on the topics that are of the circle interest, organizers won't attempt to end the event if attendants are happily engaged in a knowledge sharing discussion.
▸ A time for feedback and re-organization of the circle will exist at some point, agreed by the circle, at the end or the beginning of the event.

☛ The Circle of Thoughts and Shared Knowledge meeting form can (and probably will) change by their own attendants decisions, D-Zona organizers don't have more power of decision in the meeting form than other attendants, besides pursuing a successful commitment of the goals and values of the meeting.
☛ In this respect, any attendant is an organizer of it too. Each attendant is encouraged to care about an equally distributed speech time as well as the turn order, and the moment to move forward in the meeting.

*For the sake of this event for now, what we consider as 'interesting' is something you would appreciate to learn and think about with yourself and the community, rather than laugh and be entertained with when you don't have energy to think.
We know this can be still ambiguous, but for now we will trust attendants criteria on selecting the content they want to share.
