The Young Karl Marx is a 2017 movie directed by Raoul Peck. The movie depicts the early years of Marx’s political involvement including exile in Paris, Brussels and London, friendship with Friedrich Engels, relationship with Jenny von Westphalen or transforming the League of the Just into the Communist League.
Raoul Peck is a Haitian film maker and politician known for historical—political movies. He also directed the movie Lumumba screened at the end of July.
