Critical Readings book reading group continues "Violence" from Slavoj Žižek. The slovenian philosopher examines the ways we perceive and misperceive violence, questioning the permissiveness of violence in philanthropy and reflecting on the powerful image and determination of contemporary terrorists. In this meeting we will be discussing chapter 4 "Antinomies of Tolerant Reason". The chapters will be presented and resumed by attendants of the group, and then the whole group will discuss its content.
