The event will be held in Studentská Hybernská room Světnice (building B).
We will discuss chapters 5 and 6 of Bullshit Jobs by David Graeber. In this book the author postulates the existence of meaningless jobs. Such jobs are endemic even to creative industries. Content curators, creatives - these and other intermediary non-roles crop up in everything from journalism to art. He tries to understand their origin and analyzes their societal harm.
It is not strictly necessary to read the book to join the meeting, although it is recommended in order to participate in the discussion.
